Formerly Center for Environmental Technology & Management - ETM, was established under Decision No. 87/DK - KHCN of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City on June 9, 2003.

ETM is a center specializing in experimental research, deploying application of new technologies in environmental technology and management, consulting about carrying out environmental impact assessment report, especially producing reports for investment projects, infrastructure and construction design projects, as well as producing the tender, bidding documents and bidder selection for environmental projects. We are also installing facilities, operate and inspect the waste treatment systems (e.g. exhaust gas, wastewater and solid waste, etc.).

In 2023, we become a member of the network of companies and laboratories of the Eurofins Scientific group, joining the goal of "Testing for Life" under the name Eurofins ETM.

Furthermore, with a modern laboratory system by The Standard ISO/IEC 17025 : 2017 – VILAS 327 and The Certificate of eligible for service activities in environmental monitoring, code: VIMCERTS – 052, issued by The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, ETM fully possesses the functions, experiences, and facilities to carry out projects as well as perform services of monitoring, analyzing environmental quality, establishing wastewater discharge report into receiving source, assembling environmental inspection document, and producing the environmental monitoring report. In addition, ETM is always side by side with internationally and nationally functional and competent agencies and enterprises, in all activities involving environmental protection and pollution mitigation with a team of active and experienced staff.

Through many years of working and accumulating experiences, Eurofins ETM has participated in and carried out a large number of international- and national-scaled projects. With considerable efforts and profound advances in research, ETM is currently a competent center in technological and financial aspects; we are capable of executing research and conducting projects on water supply - wastewater - exhaust gas - hazardous solid waste, and industrial waste for treatment.
