Soil quality monitoring consists of 2 program components in complying with the Vietnamese standards QCVN 03:2023/BTNMT National technical regulation on Soil quality

  • Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP)
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program

Environmental soil quality monitoring parameters include: Heavy metals, PCBs, Aldrin, Lindane, Dieldrin, Dioxide/Furans, Benzene-Toluene- Ethylbenzene- Xylene (BTEX), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) and other significant contaminants.

Diverse soil sampling backgrounds/characteristics vary from: aquaculture, agriculture, non-agricultural, industrial, residential area, input material for manufacturing, construction properties, treatment or disposal facility, mining, traffic facility (e.g., marine port, airport, railway system, public road, etc.).
