the closeness between colleagues in the “Eurofins People & Occupation” series

Until now, during the 4th wave of the pandemic, Nguyet has settled into Regist jobs, adapting well to new developments, “I have always felt that having a job at Eurofins is a lucky thing for a fresh graduate like me.” – Nguyet shared more about the “predestination” of work at Eurofins.

The first turning point on the career path

Meet Minh Nguyet HUYNH, a girl grew up in a small family in Ho Chi Minh City. After graduating from the City University of Technology and Education, majoring in Food Technology, Nguyet decided to try her hand at finding a job instead of continuing her education. Faced with the time when the Sars-CoV-2 virus spread, becoming a Covid-19 pandemic raging across the country and globally, finding a job that matches your expertise and the company's environment is also important, must be suitable for yourself, more and more challenges for our young girls. Nguyet shared, she has to search many places, many opportunities have passed, and then she has to "spread" her CV for a long time to look for an opportunity for herself. Responding to Nguyet's persistence, one day, Eurofins contacted a job offer from a sample collector. Until now, during the 4th wave of the pandemic, Nguyet has settled into Regist jobs, adapting well to new developments, “I have always felt that having a job at Eurofins is a lucky thing for a fresh graduate like me.” – Nguyet shared more about the “predestination” of work at Eurofins. the first turning point on her career path.

A place to develop yourself for a very meaningful job

For Nguyet, the time sitting on the university lecture chair could not let the young girl imagine what her job after graduation would be like as well as the contribution of that work to society. With a major in Food Technology, Nguyet only knew that she could be accepted to work in food processing factories, foodstuffs, food testing centers, nutrition centers, laboratories or have can work as a lecturer at universities… Until she collided with the real environment at Eurofins, Nguyet gradually realized that this is a very meaningful job. Every day, Nguyet and all Eurofins colleagues constantly contribute to ensuring the quality and safety of food, the environment, and related products to ensure the physical and mental health of users. In addition, the work of Nguyet in particular, and the service chain of Eurofins in general, ensure the quality of domestic products, increase the value of Vietnamese products to foreign markets; contribute to the development of the country's food industry.

“As an employee of the Regist department, I have the opportunity to work directly with customers via email and phone, specifically when customers contact to ask for information about sample running, sample delivery, date of appointment to return results…”, Nguyet talked about her own experience with her current job.

“Due to the specifics of the service industry, Eurofins has to serve a large number of customers every day, therefor mistakes are hard to be avoided. We only hope that customers can understand and still trust our services. Besides, the company's employees will continue to strive and improve to meet the needs and satisfy customers more in the future.

Given the nature of the service industry, to better serve customers and make them happy will depend on the skills and attitudes of the staff. For skills, each employee needs to be trained in specialized knowledge about the company's products and services. At the same time, it inspires employees to actively improve their understanding and continuously improve their knowledge about the industry they are pursuing. In terms of attitude, employees must always show confidence, professionalism, friendliness, consideration, no judgment or bad attitude when working with customers. In addition, each employee needs to have calm, flexibility to find creative solutions in dealing with some unexpected situations or problems that arise unforeseeably.”

As a "second home" - where the boundary between work and life is blurred

Coming to the "house" of Eurofins has not been long, but this place has brought Nguyet a lot of memories. Nguyet recalls: “The most memorable is probably the company trip 2020 to Nha Trang, this is also the first company outing in the life of a 24-year-old girl. More specifically, despite the difficult time due to the "rapid" epidemic at home and abroad, the company still tried to arrange for all employees a meaningful trip with the theme Ready to Change."

Nguyet continued: “The story of the quarantine period at the company may be the most profound impression on me while working at Eurofins up to the present time. Due to the seriousness of the Covid epidemic, the company decided to implement the "3 on-site" policy introduced by the state. The employees start a life "seeing the company as their home". Every day, outside of working hours, everyone will organize sports activities such as table tennis, badminton, shuttlecock, gym, yoga... to improve physical fitness as well as create opportunities to bond with each other instead of hours of boring phone calls. Although we have to live separately from the outside world, the company always tries to make us feel as comfortable as possible during our stay here. I will always remember the image of Mr. Phi rolling up his sleeves to "build" each small room for employees with cardboard boxes, or delicious "bonus" dishes cooked by "mother" Thuy herself to help with meals more interesting, or the moments when carrying a bucket to the rooftop to do laundry with teammates and then running up to put away when it rains, and there are countless other stories. This is definitely a time I will never forget at Eurofins. For me now, this place is no longer just a place to work, it has truly become my second home.”

“Three things that I like most about Eurofins are:

  • The working environment is young and dynamic, everyone always supports each other to complete the work, superiors always create comfort for employees to express their creativity and express their personal opinions at work.
  • The company always creates conditions for employees to hone necessary life skills as well as useful knowledge to serve their daily work.
  • Outside of working hours, the company also organizes many interesting playgrounds for teams to have the opportunity to build a better and closer relationship, thereby forming a strong team together to help the company develop."

- Nguyet shared

Eurofins would like to thank Minh Nguyet HUYNH for accepting the interview and sharing very helpful and sincere thoughts about her work experiences and memories with Eurofins with her extremely positive energy. In the future, we hope to have the opportunity to tell more stories so that Eurofins and its services will truly become close and practical to everyone, every home.

Kind Regard!
