Environmental Testing for Dioxin remediation project
Eurofins Sac Ky Hai Dang has been awarded the environmental testing agreement to
conduct the testing work on dioxin remediation at Bien Hoa Airbase Area, the primary
Agent Orange storage and handling site during the U.S.Vietnam War and the largest
remaining dioxin hotspot in Vietnam. 500,000 cubic meters of dioxin-contaminated soil
and sediment in need of remediation.
In detail, Eurofins Sac Ky Hai Dang has been performing the soil and water testing of dioxins/furans, heavy metals consisting of arsenic, herbicide, and local regulation-based water parameters. With world-class laboratory experts and state-of-art equipment along with worldwide networking, Eurofins is a pioneer in dioxins detection with one part out of 1,000billion is not the limit.

The local legislation stipulated the permissive threshold of dioxins in soil and wastewater matrix through the following law names QCVN 45:2012/BTNMT National technique regulation on allowed limits of dioxin in soils and TCVN 9737:2013 Dioxin discharge standards from the treatment activities for the dioxin-contaminated site.
